Let's make a list of all the stories about Papaw that you just can't get enough of.
Please tell me that story again...
1. About Papaw running to save the watermelon, when Harold fell at cold, cold creek
2. About Papaw falling out of Uncle Eddie's truck while it was going 20 mph; all the while holding Maclaren. Papaw somehow kept Mac from getting a scratch.
3. About Papaw throwing that wounded owl into the air, hoping it would fly. (it didn't fly. it landed in a briar bush)
4. About Papaw kissing that man's hand, thinking it was one of his kids.

Ohhh I love Sniffsniff! He was the greatest!!!! Didnt he have a girlfriend named Snuffsnuff?
I feel like I always remember Pawpaw receiving a pack of Andes mints every christmas, and being very excited about them and passing them around the room for us to admire as he did his "heyheyhey!" woerner yell. did that really happen? because I tell people it did...If so, I love it..because i think its great to get excited about small things like that.
also what i love about the harold/watermelon story is that harold was running after bubbles, who was apparently terrified of water...only to get to the bottom to see bubbles swimming.
Also, Matt and I laugh about this all the time. On our way through to Oklahoma once we stopped by Memaws to have dinner wiht her. Pawpaw wanted matt to pray so he said "Why dont you pray...whats your name again?" he was of course admonished by Memaw but it made me and Matt laugh so hard.
9. How PawPaw could stare a hole straight through your eyes.
10.How PawPaw would leave 2 minutes after he finished eating and would wait in the car for Memaw.
I have happy tears streaming down my face right now- i am laughing so hard. i am so thankful for all the laughs pawpaw has provided.
I'm not sure what number this is but...
How about how Pawpaw would choke during most meals he ate and you would frequently see the food come out just a little.
how about how pawpaw would always scob your noggin! he'd even let me do it back to him in an attempt to make him stop but he always appeared unmoved by my attempts. the only result would be his hair ruffled up for the rest of the day. it didn't bother him enough to comb it back down.
also i'll never forget how paw paw always swam in his slacks and penny loafers. one time he did a flip off the diving board in sharon's pool and i was so shocked i forgot how to swim. we were just joking around when we dared him to do a flip. i didn't know he'd actually do one!
