Ralph's family, start here

Hey Fam,
I just needed a place to let my thoughts flow, a place where my feelings can breathe. Then I thought of all of us. I thought how cool would it be to use our written words to honor a man as he transitions into heaven. Please join me. Write whatever you want in order to express who Ralph Woerner was, what his impact is, funny memories, powerful memories, personal qualities, etc.

I intend to write brief entries that capture the Papaw I know. Feel free to make up your own "rules." I know it would do my heart good to read your words. And who knows, if we get carried away, maybe I'll turn it into a coffee table memory book so that our descendants will not forget where we came from.

How appropriate. RW was a man who was known for his words. He spoke (shouted) them from the pulpit. He wrote them with ferocious care. How appropriate that we use words to capture his life and impact. And if there is one thing our family got, it was his ability to use words.
