Apple Fritters, Pecans and Bonanza

Sunday was the end of Dad's work week and Monday was his day off. So Sunday nights were special. Dad would often make scrumptous apple fritters, sprinkled with powdered sugar. Yummy! Sometimes he would roast pecans. Mmmm. It's the only time I remember him watching a tv show with us. We would gather around our little black and white tv and watch Bonanza. I loved those special Sunday nights with my Dad.
