Sometimes, when a man has made an impact so great, so deep, its just easier to pay tribute to his life a piece at a time. Cheers to you, Ralph Woerner, and may these words capture the ongoing echos of your voice in our lives.
Though he be but little, he is fierce.

I know this was an emotional time but to me that was beautiful. I feel like I have been sort of obsessed with Pawpaw. He is all I can think about.I pulled out my Fiddler on Roof vinyl and put it up on my fireplace mantle and draped Pawpaws tie around it as a sort of shrine. I never knew how awesome and how many great things he did. I know what he has done for me...but I came away from Elberta feeling so inspired to do great things. I want to be just like my Pawpaw.
Reminds me of the song sung at PawPaw's father's funeral, Shall We Gather At The River.
