Matt wanted me to share this funny memory with yall:
On our way through to Oklahoma, we would always stop and stay with Meems and Pepaw. On one visit, Blackie was being extremely obnoxious and would not stop barking (what else is new). That day Pawpaw had bought an electric collar to put on Blackie to get it to shutup. They put it on and it wasn't really doing anything. THis really bugged Pawpaw, so Matt got to drive Pawpaw and big red to the pet store to exchange the electric collar. They found a more powerful one hoping it would do the trick. Pawpaw wanted to test the collar in the store to make sure it worked. He kept tryin to touch it with his hand and the pet store worker kept saying "Sir you really dont wanna do that" Pawpaw told him "leave me alone I just want to see if it works" so pawpaw stuck his hand on the electric part, which in turn flung his arm back so fast it made pawpaw yell "SHIT!!!!" and he bought it. Matt was so shocked- I'm not sure abot what more- paw paw shocking himself, or cussing!!!!

Karen and I are laughing so hard at this memory. I can just see Matt's face now.
I wish you could have seen Matt's face when he walked into the kitchen after that. It was just completely flabbergasted. HE then pulled me aside to tel me and we laughed and laughed.
I can't tell you the number of times I have seen Papaw get electrocuted. He'd be working on a broken light switch, or some other project he had NO business doing. I knew to stand back so the current wouldn't jump to me.
Although I never heard the electricity induced swear words.
I laughed so hard at this story, I started wheezing like Harold.
